BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "Approx. 15 years ago I ruptured a disc in my spine and have 2 herniated discs. I have been able to continue working with minimal discomfort thanks to Doctor Janis. In the beginning I was directed to physical therapy with no results. Janis chiropractic is more than just adjustments. The reason I am able to still work today at 68yrs old is by the grace of God and Doctor Janis."
